We are planning to hold a Christmas Gala on Monday 22 December during patch. The coaches and the club would like to get as many of our skaters involved as possible.
The gala will consist of various group numbers and will involve the skaters working together as a team. It is a good opportunity for friends and relatives to come and watch your child skate. Entry will be free of charge but we would ask that you each buy a programme on the door.
Raffle 1
We will be holding a raffle in aid of St Francis Hospice which is a very worthwhile charity helping people suffering from terminal cancer and other life-limiting illnesses. We would like people to donate prizes of any description. Please dig deep as these people do a marvelous job.
Raffle 2
We will also be holding a patch raffle and the winner will have their patch paid directly to their coach by the club ( to the value of £35.00).
Volunteers
We are looking for volunteers to help on the day. Please leave your name with a committee member if you are able to assist. It will be much appreciated.
Rehearsal times
Beginners' patch skaters Thursdays 4-5pm
Level 1 and above patch skaters Mondays 5-6pm
Rehearsals will commence on Thursday 9 October and finish Thursday 18 December It is very important that rehearsals are attended. If you would like to take part please contact either Carole Young, Karen Smith or Stella Sawyer.
