Chantel Philp started skating at the age of seven. Her coach at Romford was Maggie Barrow, during which time she acheived Level 10 Free Skating and Level 8 at Ice Dance.
Chantel won four gold medals at the French International Competition in 2008 and won two gold medals at the British Ice Dance Championships this year (2009), coached by Nick Hughes.
Chantel Philp is currently in her final year studying for her BA Hon's in Education Studies and Psychology.
